FM+ is delighted to have become the latest company to join the influential business group Hull Bondholders.
It comes as FM+ prepares to move into new purpose built premises at Priory Park, Hull, which will be the headquarters for its group of long established, successful city-based businesses.
Award-winning Green Commercial Cleaning and Contract Flooring & Interiors (CFI), as well as Commercial Entrance Matting (CEM) and Sports and Leisure Surfaces (SLS), all come under the FM+ umbrella of companies, providing a wide range of services to customers across Hull, the East Riding and Yorkshire.
The move to join Hull Bondholders comes on the back of a near £1m investment by the firm into to its expansion, and as the city prepares to be in the national spotlight as City of Culture in 2017.
Managing director James Needler says it is the perfect time to join the Bondholders scheme, building on years of supporting of the local community.
This support has ranged from sponsoring local sports juniors to Premier League Hull City AFC, as well supplying products and services to many charitable good causes free of charge.
“As a company we are proud and passionate about being a business established in Hull, and as such we have always committed to supporting community projects and good causes,” said Mr Needler.
“We have always known that Hull is a great place to be based and do business, and hopefully, with all the new investment coming into the city, and the City of Culture celebrations next year, that message will continue to spread.
“We are excited to be joining the Hull Bondholders at a time of great excitement and expectation for what is ahead.
“Together, successful Hull businesses can create a very powerful voice for the region about the benefits of living here, working here, and importantly, doing business with our many industry-leading companies.
“For our part, we plan to continue investing and growing our business in the city, as we are doing with our new development, and hopefully continue to create good employment opportunities.”
The Hull Bondholders group is charged with the marketing and promotion of the Humber on the national and international stage.
It aims to start conversations about the region and bring businesses together at events, creating inspirational marketing materials and telling compelling stories about the opportunities the region has to offer, and to celebrate and showcase successful business in the region.
FM+ has a reputation for quality and commitment to customer service.
Its cleaning arm of the group, Green Commercial Cleaning, was named the winner of the Customer Focus Award at the Hull Daily Mail’s Business Awards in November 2015, having won high praise from judges for offering the same, high quality level of customer service, no matter whether the client was a blue chip company or small start-up. Customers include the likes of ABP, P&O, Siemens and Heron Foods.
Contract Flooring & Interiors (CFI) has also established itself as one of the largest commercial flooring companies in the North of England, with clients ranging from the NHS and councils to independent schools, retailers and construction companies.
