Contract Flooring and Interiors (CFI) was formerly known as Lightowler Contract Interiors, part of the Lightowler Group of Companies, which demerged in 2005. We are now an independent, dynamic and forward looking company specialising in floorcoverings and textiles. How can we help you?
Experience in all sectors
We have a wide range of clients, including councils, private building companies, public sector organisations, retailers and blue chip construction companies. Our reputation has helped us achieve 'preferred supplier' status for HBG Construction and Kajima, two of the UK's largest construction companies, and our blinds and curtains division is approved by North Eastern Universities Purchasing Group (NEUPG), supplying 22 universities across the North East.

Our skills at your service
We place great emphasis on the skills and training of our people. Our Contracts Managers have overall responsibility for the efficient progress of every project, keeping you informed at all times.
Our Quantity Surveyors first assess, measure and estimate proposed work for your approval. We have our own CFI fitting team, all of whom are Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) registered and trained in Health and Safety. Fitters attend further courses on an ongoing basis to ensure they are updated on new products and techniques.
ISO9001 certified - your assurance of quality
In 2005 we attained ISO9001 accreditation, awarded by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). We continually monitor our performance and actively seek to improve our business; ensuring clients continue to be impressed by our work and service.
